OXFORD United Women came from behind to win at Cheltenham Town.

Libby Bell gave the hosts the lead after just seven minutes when she converted a cross.

United responded well and Ffion Llewellyn had to be alert to prevent Phoebie Poole having a clear run on goal.

At the other end, former U’s player Anais Trinci brought a save out of Beth Howard.

Poole headed just wide, but United then scored in quick succession at the end of the first half.

Jaime Gotch headed in a Nic Gibson corner before Poole ran through on goal and slotted past Carys Pugh-Jones.

The home side came closest to a leveller when Bell headed against the crossbar.
